Most bandmembers started in the band Oxtale, which became S (57) and Da Kluet, before they named theirselves Da Klute and made a 12" for Top Hole Records. Later on Jan and Jan formed Go Rome, but also tested The Scream (9) as a shortlived bandname, using some of the Da Klute-songs.

 Kiss The Blade was formed in Gloucestershire, UK in 1984 and had a lot of Radio 1 airplay by Janice Long. "The Party’s Begun" was the first single and "Young Soldier"(a protest song against the Faklands war) followed.

Kiss The Blade was a obscure UK post punk / new wave / dark / gothic quartet fronted by vocalist/guitarist Terry Elcock and guitarist Tim J. Broughton.
